SWIFT MT--> MX migration

SWIFT is moving to XML with the push of ISO20022 standards already used by pilot applications such as Funds, Exceptions & Investigations, Cash Reporting, and SEPA. SWIFT has a phased out plan for some MT that must be replaced by their equivalent MX, this is the case for MT Funds templates that will be removed from the SWIFT network by 2012. This migration must be anticipated as it may have a big impact on your current legacy messaging environment. The MX migration may require a translation tool to ensure the coexistence with MT during the transition period.
